It was Sean who suggested I buy this and fill all the little leather loops with bullets - they would in fact fit perfectly. It’s not every day your husband suggests you buy a $3k purse. The only thing stopping me was the thought of being regularly stopped and searched by police and security guards everywhere.

what size bullets?
9mm seems to be the right size, but the leather would stretch to fit a bigger bullet. I should bring a sample to bloomies, hah!

I think it’s mostly a NYC thing, not necessarily a US thing. Or a megalopolis thing - I’m sure Parisians, Hongkongese or Tokyoites wouldn’t bat an eye at the price.
